With our efficient tie-ups in the Delhi Region, we obtain quality Steel Casting, Gray Iron Casting and Steel Forgings as well as Non-Ferrous Castings. Quality Control Details
  • With customers an agreed Quality Assurance Plan is drawn up for Compliance.
  • Casting and Forgings and rolled stock are Proof Machined and then subjected to Ultrasonic Testing to levels II or III only those comp. which are O.K. in UST are accepted for further processing. We do our own US Testing.
  • For Tensile testing, test pieces are cast/forged integral with items. Tensile, chemical, charpie Test are carried out at Govt. Authorized Test Houses.
  • We method & where possible spectrometer are used for chemical testing. The former is also done at a Govt. Authorized Test House.
  • Hardness Testing is carried out as a rule by us on jobs needing Hardening & Tempering.
  • Only those Vendors for Casting and forgings are selected who have facilities for mentioned above.
  • Measurements are done for dimensional and positional accuracies as per drawing and relevant standards.
  • In some cases, after Rough Machining, a heat treatment cycle is carried out, (Temperatures etc. are recorded on charts) and then final machining is done.
At the order stage for Castings/Forgings/Blanks, the quality aspects & tests/inspection points are specified in Quality Assurance Plan and then monitored, to avoid any quality problem in the various stages of processing.
